When I install Trainz 2010 EE on my Win7 pro computer homenetwork
my internet connection breaks. The network gives the message: There is no
Internet connection :( .
Can anyone help please

Never had this one before!

Are you using a router or a simple crossover cable?

And also is the broken internet connection just with Trainz or for everything?

I use a D-Link Dir-120 wired router and I get the connection back when I by-pass the router. But then I lose the other network computers connected.
And I think the router is working ok because my other two computers does not lose internet contact.

And as soon as I uninstall Trainz my connection comes back again and the
computer works ok. I have installed and uninstalled twice and the same thing
happens every time

Do you run trainz with any service packs and or in admin mode as a tech friend suggested this

Try disabling the iTrainz chat interface - Start Trainz (to the screen where you get Tutorials, Routes etc) , and go to <Main Menu> then <Options> then <Global Interface Addons> and uncheck the iTrainz interface.

Also check out the Trainz Internet Connection settings - these are in <Options> (from the Launch menu - not the same "Options" as above!!) <Planet Auran> tab.

That router should have a DMZ feature that allows one computer to essentially be unfirewalled by the router. Try that as a test. If it works, try enabling port forwarding with the following two IP addresses: 174.121.103.178 and 174.121.103.202. Forward all ports, 0-65536.

Thank you, I think that chat disabling helped me. Trainz has worked ok
now for a couple of hours :)
