I've been making modifications on a saved-under-a-different-name copy of the Marias Pass Approach Route (Trainz 2006). Up to a couple of mods ago, everything was working fine. However, somewhere in the last two or three mods, trains no longer cross the Cutbank bridge in either direction from either track to follow the "drive via trackmark..." routes I specify at the bottom of the screen.
Here's an example: My Super Chief is parked facing east on the double track west of the bridge. When I used to select "Drive via trackmark...Cutbank Platform," it went. Now it just sits there.
It will cross the bridge if I use the DDC knob, then regain AI control just on the east side of the bridge if I click the inverted red triange at the bottom of screen that calls the "drive via.." command. The same things happen with westbound trains.
I restored an earlier version (I backup changes on DVDs) and made sure all the trackmarks, including the yellow direction markers, were still there in the latest mod. They are.
Any ideas where the AI might have gone at the bridge? I'd appreciate your help. Thanks.
