Hey Darkdan, will that locomotive work in TRS2004? I had one in TS2009 since it was a built-in item. Looks great.

Hi Daniel,

There's no stopping you now isn't there.:hehe: Looks very promising as allways.

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam,

Thank you. I'll try to do a map with more goods moves with this one. The one baseboard design is still challenging. :)

I can only say, autumn is really here to stay.:hehe: Impressive.

Shunting on NG Europe 5.

First destination : the goods shed to the right, but first we have to move the cars which are on the loading/unloading track and leave them on the waiting track.

We stop our train, uncouple the BB405 and go back to the shed.

Hi Daniël,

Nice pictures as allways :) , but since you're now in shunting and industry mode, may I make a suggestion. I presume you use the Multiple Industry New track for your industry activities. This however means that consists stopping at certain locations get loaded or unloaded instantanious. Also relationship between unloaded products and production of items to load is restricted to the same piece of track (unless I'm overlooking something:hehe: ).

For a more realistic industrial behaviour I would like to put the ProtoLars system under your attention. It has quite a lot of additional features where you can read up on on Trainz Pro Routes (registration required). A few are very interesting for this route I think. For instance: (un)loading with uncoupled locomotive, timed (un)loading process a car at a time and relationship in product production from different tracks, just to name a few. I found it to be a very robust written system, that works very well.
Whatever you descide, your route will be another gem I'm sure, this is just my two cents.

Hello Jan,

Thank you for the suggestion, it is a good one but I think (or I am wrong?) the rolling stock has to be converted to be compatible with the LARS system.

As no existing metric cars are currently compatible, their config.txt. has to be modified and I am not sure all Trainz users are pleased or familiar enough with Trainz to have to do that only to be able to run the map.

That is why I still stay with Auran industry tracks for now, but I am sure it is not a big work for LARS users to replace some tracks and modify some config.txt to implement LARS system in NG Europe 5 if they want to.

Regards,

Daniel
