"Next Station" in P42 Cab?

I'm using a reskinned P42 Genesis locomotive in a layout and I noticed there is a "Next Station" in the lefthand screen in the cab view. I know other screens actually function and recall seeing a YouTube video somewhere where it shows the "Next Station" apparently listing the upcoming station as the name suggests (I don't remember which video this was and haven't been able to refind it). So I presume there is a way of getting this to work. Can anyone clue me in on how to use this function?

Thanks!

Sorry sir for not responding. I'm usually good for that, but I wasn't feeling well again yesterday. :(

I don't have much to add, but I've seen that on locos and European trams. It would be nice to configure the next station and the destination displays.

The next station display works in the Harlem Line Route sesions. TS2012 also supports it. Just place a trigger and lable it: xxStationame.

That wasn't aimed at anyone specifically, John. It's just that normally I get replies pretty quick on here! Hope you're feeling better!

Kenneth3141, thanks for the reply. Where does the trigger get placed? At the station? Does it need the xx before the station name?

Read the CCG "New functions in TC3" to get more info
Hope this helps
[h=3]Surveyor - Cab Signals[/h]Add the object "MN Trackside Cabsignal" from the Track Panel / Trackside Objects. This signal controls the states that will be shown by the in cab signalling and is only visible in Surveyor.

[h=3]Surveyor - Computerised In Cab Display[/h]The computerised M7 cab digitally displays various technical and safeworking data. It can also display the next station name. Add a trigger at the point along the track where you would like the next station name to light up in the cab. The naming convention is simple. If the next station is "Hobotown" then name the trigger as:
xxHobotownThe name will be displayed until the train passes another station-name trigger.
To blank the display add another trigger named xx_
Greetings

Yes. the xx is required before the station name (no spaces). The trigger can be placed anywhere you want but it is usually placed just outside a station so that the next station is displayed when the train leaves the current station. A trigger is sometimes place just before the train enters a station (xxspace) so that the display will be blank when the train is in the station.
