Newbie catenary question

I am pretty new to Trainz and am still in the stage of getting to grips with the basics of what it'll do. I am having problems with getting the catanery splines to snap together to form a turnout. Instead the marker circles of the splines sit one on top of the other.
Am I missing something obvious here?, otherwise are there any tutorials out there?

I'm still just playing with the Trainz provided catenery, in this case Catenary Single 40m, so I haven't looked at the DLS to see what else is out there.

Hello abs508 and welcome to the Trainz forum...

Sorry we haven't been able to get in touch with you sooner, but sometimes this forum gets busy and one post added all of a sudden ends up on page 2 and unfortunatly gets un-noticed. This I think is what has happened here, lucky enough it never got away un-answered.

Anyway back to the topic in hand...

Sometimes when you place Catenary on a baseboard and then you select more catenary to add, it should just click together, however if it's slightly raised above the other, then this could mean you have selected different catenary to what is origionally on the board...

The best advice I can give you is play around with trainz as much as you can to learn more about it, no doubt you've probably done this already and solved your problem in the process, if this is the case... ignore the above.
