A rumor that Auran has been working on a new version of TRAINZ, tentatively entitled "TRAINZ WORLDZ" which will have every rail line represented in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The computer program is being written in a new code which will virtually eliminate all stutter and lag.

In the works since 2003, and kept "top secret" in a new Auran office in Melborne, this new version is being developed by a team of seventeen, including one of Japan's top computer programmers, Ai Takahashi.

No...That was the failed & folded MSTS2...Auran seems to be going the same dirrection, depending whether Auran ever gets the DLS up and running again...DLS is down for an undetermined timeline. I feel the great DLS Crash II comming.

September comes early, this is what you have to look forward to, and Trainz is now fully unsupported in it's present state

That was close, I almost replied.:hehe: :hehe:

Well I fell for it hook, line & sinker!:o

Now, can anyone on the planet, where the time is now 2nd April, confirm that this whole spat about Auran not supporting TRS2004/06, denying access to DLS items, (even if you pay!), and the DLS not currently working was simply a 1 April spoof!

I have to say I was a bit suspicious about this announcement as it IS the 1st.
Good one though!
The "announcement" link was good!
:D :hehe:

BC Kicking Horse Pass-Spiral Loops route is ready for upload to the DLS

But the DLS is down...so I can't upload it to Auran.

Well, what I heard was Auran is going to pay everyone back for thier FCT that will not work since the last server change!
Pay everyone back: Oh that would be a laugh...they are commonly months and months late delivering the Trainz CD's or FCT that you paid them.

You are correct.... but.... they are paying in Zimbabwe Dollars.

10 Zimbabwe Dollar = 0.08151 Romanian New Lei

Try not to spend it all in one shopping trip......:)

Have fun,

Well I fell for it hook, line & sinker!
I don't see how, as the the URL in the original poster's link is XXX/YYY/april-fool.png, so naturally it's just a picture file (No I did not open it).

And besides due to this site aiming at an almost "world-wide audience" it is shown as posted 1:55am on 02/04/2010 (that's 04/02/10 to that country that is backwards in using a better metric system -nuh I'll just type 02 Apr 2010 so it's not confusing!)

Edit: Besides it would be tooooooooooooooooooooooo big, and lonnnnnnnnng to operate. But on the other paw, I mean hand you could represent USA, UK - which should be one country anyway[1]) Australia with three different sides of a train simulator/model/minature rail layout.

1. Now should I duck for cover?

Very good April Fool's joke, Dave. :D You almost got me.

It's almost true what you're trying to sell though, if you think about it. For the most part the current versions of Trainz covers mostly, the North American continent, the UK, and Australia. Then there's the smattering of European routes thrown in for good measure.

Would have been better if you posted this yesterday - Auran is based in Australia and April fools was over 24 hours ago.......good try but fail
