NEW V2: Florida East Coast Miami - Ft Pierce; TS2009, variable Sizes

Hey,

I am building a new 09 route for the FEC from Miami to Ft Pierce, Fl. I will include progress and train sessions. I'll start it off with progress:

ATLS SP1 glitch, I need boat's help!

You'll notice that I changed the sky to clear, as seen above

Grumble-groan. :'(
I think I know why. Can't do anything till my DVD of TRS 2009 arrives though.

I'll see what I can do then!

Keep in mind that the problem occured in SP1. I'm hoping you can solve the problem, might be a script error....

Hi Brickbuilder,

Actually, if its what I think it is, its something I couldn't really figure out why it DIDN'T happen in TRS 2004 & TRS 2006!

If its what I think it is, its an easy fix.

I got a card today to say that a 'package' is at the Post Office for me. If that's TRS 2009 and the fault is what I think it is, I'll post a fix here tomorrow. Hopefully you will just have to modify the config..... or wait for the update!

Thanks. As I may have indicated in the email the Tram lights still show, I have indeed tried removing their KUID but there will be an error and the lights won't work right. Maybe I need to adjust the config so the tram lights go too.

All:
Hialeah yard is almost finished BTW :) I should have a screen ready.

I think the removal of the tram lights may need a gs script mod which I'll check when I get my 2009 DVD.
At least the config mod removed most of them.
If you can put up with that till I do a KUID 2 update, that will be best.

Dude how do you make your routes so well im downloading assets to your 06 out which is de @$# lol great work.:D

Thanks for the compliments! I usually find various content, especially some not on the DLS. I have a rather "photographic" memory that has me pick up what exactly is in a certain mile. FECRailway_Richard has also taken cabride footage from Miami up that showed the line in the mostly indifferent early 1990s

Progress Pics:

Looking west at the intermediates near Palm Av. in Hialeah:

I am using broad gauge concrete track, at which the difference should not affect most screenshots of the route. Wooden, standard gauge track at crossings and turnouts are imminent as well.

A new scripting problem is found with the SPL trigger of boat's ATLS. The crossing may be at fault:

A harsh cold front has moved into the area, and it has brought astronomical amounts of rain with it. Unfortunately for Liberty City residents, a gargantuan lightning strike occured near them. Luckily very few were around and no one was injured. Note: This is fictional

The first shot is looking between 27th and 22nd avenues in an empty lot.

The second shot is looking west at warehouses under the metrorail at NW 27th Avenue.

In fact there is a Liberty City in Miami-Dade County, just east of Hialeah.

Just noticed that the tracts of homes have no road. Just letting you know this is most likely the case to save bandwidth and poly. However I will always put the roads by neighborhoods adjacent to the tracks. If I have no problems with the route once finished I will add the roads for maximal detail.
