In 2008 Tokyo's Line 13 is scheduled to open for the full length from Kotake-mukaihara (about 3 km west of Ikebukuro) through Ikebukuro and down to Shibuya. Tentatively titled Yurakucho New Line, the official name will be the Fukutoshin Line. Currently, the section between Kotake-mukaihara and Ikebukuro is in operation as construction is completed.
