New Routes

For stuff that on the DLS, ContentManager Plus (CMP) is easiest. Just search for what you want in the search box, find it in the right pane and right-click and select Download. Normally, any required dependencies download as well, but CMP has been known to miss some assets. If the route downloads and you see a yellow puzzle piece, right click the route and select View Dependencies and then click View in Main Window on the pop-up box to be able to download or look into the missing assets.

Some assets will be flagged with a red exclamation. If you run Trainz in compatibility mode, that should fix that. These assets are in the process of being updated to 2010 standards.

If the route came from a third-party site as a CDP file, you should just be able to click on the download and CMP will import it. You have to manually find and import any assets/dependencies located on third-party sites. This is where things can be a little tricky.

;) I also think that our new trainzy friend should register his copy of Trainz at his Auran Planet

to be able to download from the DLS, his FCT letting it, of course. ;)

To my knowledge, I am registered at Auran Planet. As a matter of fact twice. I got an email telling me I was already registered.

What I can't do now is figure out to register on the CMP. Excuse my slowness. I am 72 and things don't click as well as they used too.
Thanks for the help.

No, no, F R, what I mean is that you have to register your serial number on your

Serial Number

That's different from being simply registered at Auran Planet.

So you'll be the proud possessor of trainzy stations like us... and appearing on top of your posts...

That means that you're copy of Trainz is officially registered, it's yours and you are welcome to the DLS. That also prevents a wicked warez copy of Trainz to block your entry if somebody gets your S/N. You arrived first. ;)

BTW, which versión of Trainz are you trying to register? We'll tell you how to do it on your CMP or CM3. And also the limitations you're encountering if you don't have a Trainz Clasics, T9 or T10, or... a FCT (First Class Ticket)... This is about trains, isn't it? So there are also classes.

Don't worry for your age, there are many among us who are on the way and soon will reach and overtake you... :hehe:
