new patch

i just installed trainz 2010 and it keeps coming up and telling me there is a new patch, but when i try to install it it says it can not install. can anyone tell me what to do? i have registered and everything. thanks for any help

d/l the patch manunal run the patch and you might haev to tell teh patcher where your trainz dir is

the patcher says failed to extract patch. am i doing something wrong?

That error can have two reasons:

1.You are not using the manual patches (the current list is at http://www.auran.com/servicepacks/ - you need the one where the first number in the patch matches your current build number, found in the bottom-right corner of the Launcher window.
2.You have your antivirus software turned on during the patch - if possible, when using the manual patch, disconnect from the Internet and temporarily turn off your antivirus software.

If it is,try the advice I gave in the post above yours.

If not, post the exact message given by the patcher.
