Hi everyone! I am just uploading to the Dls, my new route. It's not finished yet. It is called London underground Subsurfice. It includes District (From Barking) Ham and City (Barking To Edgwere Rd) The Circe line (Old route) and the Met line (Aldgate To Northwick Pk). Please Tell me what you think.

if you made it for 06 then it probably got rejected cause I dont think they are accepting large files for 06 on dls

Not Availible

That one is, i think is not needed. It was when i was trying to make a lu destanation board out of the german one but it was a fail !

I suggest you look at District Daves site - not a trainz site, but real life and look at the track diagrams. Have you looked at my track District Line From Upminster v2? The Whole of the Circle line is there to Paddington at least, and I'm working on the expansion v3 west of Earls Court. Earls Court is particularly difficult as you cannot enter platform three from High St Kensington, and you cannot enter platform 1 from West Brompton as there are no crossovers. I use Spanner's track in my set up but not the Bloodnok tracks as they are too memory hungry and slow down the redraw process. The station G.U. Station Central Track by pd1138 is more typical than the metro station that you have used, so download that and try it. It even has station announcement chatter, and is more typically TFL. There many underground tube stations now available for deep routes, one of which I am planning to incorporate - the Piccadilly line, as it joins the District at Barons Court.

You may go to the dls And Get London Underground Trains Theres three

;)1 Theres 1996 stock
:)2 theres d78 stock
;)3 theres 1972 stock

Have you A v2 version of your route. It is excellent - much better than mine but i find the session comfusing. Its problay because i dont use trs 2009 as much as 2006.

The version 2 is on the DLS, when it works. (The DLS that is). It's v3.0 I am working on. The original started life on ts2006, AND I haven't changed much of the structure.
I have made use of available material and upgraded it all to ts2009 that's all. At potential points of conflict at crossovers, I have introduced catch points and double point motors, where programmed trains have to control the junction and the associated catch point in the FALSE fashion before proceeding. In the contra direction if the catch point is TRUE then the other junction cannot be set for a train to cross the path of a train controlling the through route. Note: where there was an available track plan, I have used it and the associated labelling designation, so they are typical.
For Routes I have used the Schedule Library, and broken it down into segments, so that I can place trains around the CIRCLE for example, and select the schedules in order of procession for each of them.
For DISTRICT Trains, It it essential to control the portals, so that the DOWN portal is set to return trains through the UP portal alongside at a set delay, by including the name of the UP portal in the parameters. Make sure that it is spelled correctly even to Miniscule or Majiscule (Capital Letters)characters.
The DOWN portal can only accept trains, and the UP portal can only generate trains, but none of the parameters are set.

Any commands issued to a driver will be carried through the portal when it emerges. I will use West Brompton as an example. The train departs Platform 1, and instructed to call at, drive to, or navigate to the DOWN portal, but in the driver instructions, there is a "call at West Brompton" and a "load command" as well. The Train will exit the DOWN portal into limbo for the set time period, then return at the UP portal to carry out the remaining instructions, however many there may be. I try not to use the portals to generate new trains, as the system can become overloaded. I park all the trains in the Sidings and commence the days duty by calling them into service. All you need to do then is set a timetable, and entry points to schedules. "Schedule at Trigger" is a useful instruction too. A known train can have a schedule in place already but on hitting the trigger can have another schedule appended or inserted to add to or replace the current schedule.

All you have to do is remember who you have instructed and when it happens, and is there going to be a mess? I have had up to 10 trains a minute through Earls Court, and that exceeds The Real District line norm. It is interesting to watch the Circle Line trains interact with the District Line just west of Gloucester Road, as they enter the area of Triangle Sidings.

I have only fleeting experience of the District Line, hence the absence of scenery, and the tunnels are not very typical. There are many gaps to the open air in the real world. I have tried to view the route on Google earth, to verify both the position and orientation of the stations, particularly for v3.0 so watch out for it, probably in the new year.

Now for my news, my V3.0 route is on its way to the DLS. There is something causing a "route not found error" in it but I'm blowed if I can find it as all trains run as expected. Look for the route "District Line from Upminster" with a :3 suffix and its Session suffix "100006:1 "of the same name plus "with Trains". Inside the .cdp you will find a text file "timetable.txt" which shows the first hours of running and with what trains. The original session 1037:1 still works on this route, but can't find the extra distance to Parsons Green, and the portals beyond.

There are complicated and sometimes nested running timetables. But about 20 plus trains are seen to run. I have added some cameras in the tunnels and some stations, so try the views, as well as riding with the drivers.

Why this? It's better than Su Do Ku! You try reading and running a timetable! Su Do Ku is a doddle!

It's still in the Checking Area so be patient. I think the best place to watch the activity will be at Earls Court, as most of the trains will be there.

A slight glitch occured in the session, :o so I have corrected the error and uploaded it. Both the track and session (v1 & 2) are waiting to be checked and should be available on the DLS soon.:Y:

I note that there may be some wailing and gnashing of teeth, as I created the new track in a mixed 2009/2010, so some of the content needs to be got. I had to mess :confused: about when I transferred the map and session to my 2009 and 2010 programs on my older machine, but swapping content from one CMP to the other solved my issues.

And a message for those who bewail the current state of the DLS, where else can you get the many parts for a model railway for the cost of a 90 day First Class Ticket. Put out or put up and shut up. I enjoy constructing for the benefit of others. I admit I have had problems integrating all my content, but it seems to be stable, at least for the moment.

So it's on the way to the DLS, but the following has been notified.
These assets:
BR Cast Speedboard 010mph,<kuid2:60850:23505:1>
BR Cast Speedboard 040mph,<kuid2:60850:23511:1>
BR Cast Speedboard 030mph RHS,<kuid2:60850:23539:1>
BR Cast Speedboard 040mph RHS,<kuid2:60850:23541:1>
are not on the DLS, which is suprising as most of the series is.
They are all speedboards by Bloodnok. Rather than wait around for them to appear, just change them to something similar in the CCP, then play!

:o Having uploaded everything there are a couple of things I should mention to make the whole session run smothly.

Firstly, I forgot to add the repeat markers in the train schedules for Jan and Josef (driving the piccadilly line trains). Do that and the trains run forever, which is as they should. I believe it is they who create the "destination not found" errors, but it doesn't affect the running of them.
Secondly, you might want to adjust the AJS 4 Aspect, AJS 2 Aspect and AJS Signal for use with the underground.
Open the assets in explorer and edit the config.txt
The tag "trackside" has a value of 2 that makes the signal hide behind the wall cables in the tunnels. Change this to 1.7 and they are proud of the wall without banging into the trains.
Also make sure there are no additional parameters for the lights. CCP adds new parameters, so check that there are no additonal zeros after the light parameters. This one below is correct for the 4 aspect signal.
The top two light are the current signal, and the bottom two lights are the repeater for the next signal. Good stuff.
signals
{
0
{
light 1
}
4
{
light 0,3
}
7
{
light 0,2
}
8
{
light 0,2
}
}
This means that if your path is clear then you will see two signal. If the next signal is at red you will see a green and yellow. If the next block is occupied you will see a single red.

Finally having left it to run for a time, you may want to change the departure time of Schedule library 2J00 to 05:07, to clear the platform for the next arriving train from Parsons Green. Happy Undergrounding.

And there's more...

With the session open in edit more, select edit session rules, and highlight the schedule library and select edit. You will find 4 sub-libraries. Click on the + sign on the Circle Library. scan down to "Gloucester Road to Edgware Rd".
Hover the mouse along the line until you locate Bayswater platform 2, and click and drag it one station to the left, so that it now sits between Notting Hill Gate Platform 2, and Paddington platform 2. Dragged its associated "load" to be alongside it. Now the Circle trains will stop at platforms in the right order. Close the session editor. and save the session.

I mentioned a time change to Timetable 2J00. Those timetables are in the same place, at item 4 in the session library. Click on the + to open all the timetabled entries. Leave the other icons alone as you will never get the route right, but you can alter the times of the trains but swapping in new "wait until minute" times to suit. As I said 2J00 need to come forward to 05:07. 2J02 can benefit to going out to 05:02, and 2M01 to 05:03 so that there is not too much delay at Earls Court for Platform 2.

**** Now this is a request for coding experts. Need a piece of code that can change the name of the driver to the time table number so that it appears on the minimap rather than the drivers name****
