New Home Page Proposal!!!

Call me a grumpy old man, but I am so tired of every morning opening the Trainz forum and seeing the same questions asked day after day. So, here's my proposal for a new home page for the forums:

(Probably wouldn't do any good though, what?)


Hope this doesn't offend anyone.

I had the same problem when loads of people asked me (and others) the same question about updating DirectX so they could install SP3 for TS2009 or SP1 for TS2010.

In the end, I had to create a tutorial thread and get it stickied in the General Trainz forum.

I know what you mean though about people not using the search facility - it can speed up solving problems that other people have already had.

If you Google any problem you are having in Trainz, or a kuid ... it lists Auran Forum threads that relate

Exactly, I've never asked a question on here, as the answer has always been fairly easily found on here by using a search, usually on Google.

Sometimes just waiting until someone else asks the same question is easier then you don't have to use the search!

Search is helpful and so is Google and Bing.
