new gras

Hi,

currently I am preparing some new gras contents. They are nearly finished. They will be soon availabe in 5 color variants. The tussock (I hope thats the right word) can be placed single or in small groups.

The grass is now availabe for download on my HP (klick Scenery, then Grass). It is also on the way to the DLS.

When I click on the link to haegarle's homepage, I get an exploit-virus ; EXPL_DHTML.C

The virus resides in ...\Temorary Internet Files\Content.IE5\T2QGY92D\sps2[1].php

This virus can take complete control over a system in order to install programs to view, change or delete data.



Perhaps someone is using the homepage to spread this virus.

are you sure, you got the virus from my page? I really don't have such things on my page and server. The server where my page is located, is a real secure linux server. Please check if you really got the virus from my page.

If anyone else has such trouble with my page, please feed back.

@ Nikos: I can' t tell you exactly the FPS impact of the grass, but it is very performance friendly designed. Only 6 Polies per tussok. It needs only one texture which includes alphachannel. I added 1x LOD so that the grass will dissapear after a distance at about 250m.

currently I am preparing small grass groups for embankment or mountainside. The groups has a 45° angle. To place the grass like in the picture below needs only a few clicks. The only thing is, it must be rotated after placing to fit in the after placing it must be rotated ti fit in the embankment. In the small picture on the lower right side I placeed 5 groups (5 cklcks).

100% sure, got it a second time around. (now I've got to find the bugger and boot it out again.) I guess somebody hi-jacked your site. Maybe you should contact the people in charge of the server. Here's a screen-dump. This one is nasty - pity for those who hasn't got a gate-keeper...

O.K. I think you had bad luck, maybe the virus was already waiting to be activated on your PC. Today I asked 2 friends and my girl friend to check my page. No one of them had trouble. To be sure I made a virus scan, which shows that my page is clean.

Your picture shows that you where on a site that used *.php from where you have got the Virus, I use only *.html. The only thing where I used *php was my Guestbook. This I have disabled now.

I hope you can remove complete the virus from you system, and I hope the discussion can go on now with trainz related items.
