Good start!

Oh my dear young man, there's a lot more than just that bit, I just let my imagination run riot there.
So a few more, most in Surveyor to give an idea of WIP.

The river shown in the first 3 pictures as a general view. In the background right is a milk and cattle industry and left the old coal pier that's been hurridly brought back into service. Beyond those is a small passenger and goods docks & station.

In 2004 the vis distance is limited....

And I am busting to just say thanks to Photobucket for hosting my pictures, cheers to them.

And a bit more.

Okay, 3, I made a mistake!

Lots to do yet as can be seen. It gives me a break from Bristol and the endless houses and factories, and I have fun, which is what it's all about isn't it?

Cheers to Photobucket again, they're great, aren't they!

Blessings,

Angela

Hello Jan,
Yes, I noticed that.... but we route creators are thankful for such lovely assets I don't let it worry me. It only shows on a low angle I believe in any case.

Thanks for your great assets, a lot used on my routes now... too good to miss!

Blessings,

Angela

That's a standard Domsarto road available on the DS, and yes, it does have traffic.

Angela
No what i mean is will you lay invisible track down. I can access 4 buses in the railyard, so will you lay invisible track under or on top of all of the roads?

No what i mean is will you lay invisible track down. I can access 4 buses in the railyard, so will you lay invisible track under or on top of all of the roads?

You want to drive 'drivable' buses, is that what you're saying?
Isn't there a set of special invisible roads for planes, ships etc? Yes, I used two on this route so ships can move and unload at the oil berth.
But don't drivable buses just run on a standard road?
In any event, it is always possible for an end user to pop on whatever they want, such as extra splines, after downloading, that's what my routes are for, so folk can twiddle the knobs a bit...
That is an MPD, or railway Motive Power Department (Depot, whichever you like) so why run buses in there? Run locos in sure, that's what it's for...
But even MPDs need road access, spares, repairs, workers and the like, so that's why a road is led in.... as far as the gate anyway.

Right

No. They're just trains in disguise, and need invisible track.

Oh, right, got it. I never use them but have used ships, some on this route actually.
But it's no problem if somebody wants to run buses, just lay the invisible road under the existing one then.

Thanks,

Angela

Does this mean you will need beta testers for the route?
Because, I have have lots of time on myself.

Beta betta

Actually no.... but you can have it to run if you wish.

It's single line (hence the SLW title) with passing loops so it is limiting as to how many trains you can run at once. I mean, don't stick several dozen on and run it like Paddington...
It's supposed to be a 'laid back' route for folk to run round on at a gentler pace, like the old steam days.
So far I have run from both ends at once quite a few times to various places and it behaves itself, no trains glaring at each other face to face..... ha ha.

I shall be buttoning it up tomorrow ready for the Upload Station. So should be up next week sometime. About 3.5Mb I think, but it's not cdp'd yet.

Angela

Correction :_ Done it and it turns into a cdp of 1.299Kb.... quite a surprise!
