Need PC Temperature Mopnitor Software?

My PC died. I forgot to note the name of my temperature monitoring software. Any suggestions for such software?

You can use Core Temp, HWiNFO, HWMonitor, and other third-party tools to monitor per-core current temp, max temp, and min. temp.

If you are running an NVidia card, MSI Afterburner does that and it also allows you to adjust the fans to assist with the heat.

I've adjusted the fan curve so that the fans speed up as the heat increases. Through a bit of tweaking, I've got it so the temperature goes no higher than 70C.

I've got MSI Afterburner, but I am a bit clueless about how to make best use of it. Is there a tutorial or guide somewhere about how to manage heat by setting the fans?
