Need help with some content that was originally made for TS2009

I'm trying to get some content from PWeiser's website, but on the top it says TRAINZ, TS2009 downloads. Would these theoretically work for more modern renditions of Trainz, like TS2019 or T:ANE? I was hoping to get some help as I've seen Trainz content creator, "Amtrakguy365" use some, and would like to utilize some of the NH and PRR works.

Basically TS2009 content should work in later versions. Occasionally the error checking has improved so you may have to fix a minor error.

There are two major issues. One older content may be faulty because the creator ignored warnings and now those warnings are errors. Some errors are easy to fix but others are close to impossible to fix without access to the original mesh files from gmax or Blender.
Two, script errors introduced as Trainzscript was updated in newer versions. These aren't reported by the error checking system, but in game the items just don't do what they are suppose to do and may actually crash the game. @PWeiser is still active in the community, why not ask him directly.

The OP seems worried about what might happen, to which all I can say is, try them and see - I basically updated my content using complaints and notes I got from users of later versions while keeping them viable in TS2009. It has proved possible to update some to build 4.6 with little more than a version number change (the most onerous is the requirement that road number meshes each have their own individual texture.txt files) and I don't do anything cutting-edge or complicated in scripts... which is why mine are so verbose and complicated (g). Have fun, report your results here or via PM.
