Need help putting a loco to the 1800s area.

narrow gauge fanatic
I'm a logging fanatic, (Shays, Heislers, Climaxs, Dunkirks, etc.), and don't know much about other parts of the 'hobby' or real railroading for that matter.
I'm looking for an engine that pulled 1800's passenger cars and freight. Specifically for the Central Pacific RR. What steam engines did they use???
Got any kuid numbers for the Central Pacific RR on the DLS??? I couldn't find any...:(

I know there is another site with the transcon. locos, UP119, and CP's Jupiter, but i cant think of the link right now.
Cheers!

Thank you, LVman, but I am familiar with Carson and Pencil and have most all of it. I was making a simple route and wanted DLS content only. A lot of their stuff isn't on the DLS.

Can anyone help with DLS content only for the Central Pacific RR?

Thanks again very much...:)

P.S. We were posting at the same time, Trainzsam. I got all that stuff too. LOL Thanks, though...

All my Central Pacific stuff is on the DLS. Granted, it's ony 4 passenger cars and a similar number of freight cars :)
The only CP locomotive I am aware of for Trainz is bdaneal's, on his site above. There are no CP locomotives that I am aware of on the DLS.
The Central Pacific seemed to favor 4-4-0's initially. For a good site, look at http://www.cprr.org/ - specifically http://cprr.org/CPRR_Discussion_Group/2005/10/cp-sp-named-locomotives.html for some roster info.

Digging up A really old Thread here but because I'm Running Mac, your TrainzInstall Links don't work. ftp links work universally. Thanks, Im just thinking your keeping yourself from getting a lot more traffic on that website, content looks great!
