Navigate To vs. Drive To

Like the title says, what is the difference (if any) between the Navigate To and Drive To commands? Also, besides using them to route trains through a specific section of track, do the Drive/Navigate Via commands function more or less the same as their Drive/Navigate To counterparts?

One of them functions like the old drive to command. I think that's Navigate to where the AI drivers try to find the most direct route and will go around obstacles in their way.

The new Drive To command has better AI control with more adherence to signals and blocked paths.

Hope this helps.

Drive to and drive via were replaced in later versions with the navigate name. Navigate to will stop the train at the destination point while, via may slow the train but will not stop the train at that point.

You can also use the "Call at" command <kuid2:122285:3498:3>. Works very well with Andi06 invisible stations assuming it was stations you wanted to navigate/drive to.

I like your tag although it took a few moments before I realised the gag/joke.
