Narrow gauge route (1000mm) 640x480 shots....

Hi folks

I've been working on a fictional narrow gauge route for the past couple of weeks. I've done about 8 boards of 1000mm or metre gauge.

Having never really been into NG, I've really grown a liking for it and I went berzerk downloading lots of it from the DLS and other sites since starting this route.

I must admit I have drawn a lot of inspiration from GOR's La Robla route.

Here are the shots.

The first town is known as Spory, it has a yard and station. I've used that famous little blue engine in these shots. Heaps of screenies to show, gunna need three posts.:p

Wow, Colhad I'm impressed, for your first go at the narrow world of Trainzing. Any chance we might see it for download somewhere when its finished?

Continuing on now....

This is a small branchline that leads to a ballast siding, the siding itself is largely untouched still, I won't be showing that yet.

However, I can show fair bit of the line upto just before the river.

Two French class BB locos are hauling about 15 ballast hoppers...

Such detail! I build routes but then can't force myself to even try to detail them. It has to take forever. How do you do it?

Hi
Love your NG railway. I like putting detail into my routes
too.Really Cool!

P.S where do you get some good NG locos.

Hi folks,

I've just completed the next phase of my route and I'm at a point now where I can show some screenies.

This is the second major town on the route, hasn't been named as yet. It has a yard and ballast siding.

The pics show a Portuguese railcar as well as some other rollingstock that I use regularly.

On with the pics....

That's it for now, I'm thinking of adding standard gauge track to the route as well, makes it more interesting I feel.

More soon.....

Excellent work Colhad. I must admit, I am not a die-hard narrow gauger, but I do like the look of your route. Most impressed with the scenery and detail. Also pleased with the smaller screenshots - I am still on dial-up. I will keep my eye on your progress. Keep up the good work.
Cheers, Trev. :D
