Alright judging by this video I found this could be MSTS 2. If anyone here knows what this is than feel free to speak up. Here is the video

The simulation was presented by 3DTrains, which is a third party site for MSTS. It makes perfect sense that the video is either a promo for MSTS2 or a promo for one of their add-on packages for MSTS.
I also googled G-trax, the makers of the simulation in the video, but the only result is a company that works with GPS technology and such. According to the MSTS2 website, MSTS2 models the entire world (minus a few rail lines) much like the Flight Simulator series has. If these companies are indeed the same, then it would most likely be MSTS2 (using the GPS-skills of G-trax to help with the terrain in MSTS2).
Regardless of what or where its from, where do I sign up for a copy; it looks great?! :udrool:

Yes, it was. But after Mircrosoft released FSX, they announced that MSTS2 was reopened/restarted/uncancelled - they're using the new FSX engine for MSTS2...
No. FS 'X' is pronounced as 'FS 10'.
The new sim isn't MSTS '10', it's MSTS '2'. The various communities used the 'X' as an 'unknown', as no one knew what the real name was. People involved with the production of the new 'MSTS 2' have said on the UK trainsim forums (and more than likely other forums) that it is being called MSTS 2 at this stage.

That short video just blew TRAINZ out of the water. If thats what MSTS 2 will look like, Trainz will be history for me.
This video keeps being posted all over the place, this is not MSTS 2 and it is not Rail Simulator. It is a promo video which consists of a 3D animation and was made last year, before RS was released and before MS showed us any shots of MSTS 2. It is NOT a simulator.
If you take five seconds to compare all three of the above you'll see that they look nothing alike.

Well if it is not a Rail/Train Simulator they should make it into one. This is what I think a simulator should look like. ( Auran, Kuju, MSTS have a look and learn )

I will probably invest in it, but I won't abandon Trainz, unless MSTS 2 allows you to manage dispatching and included interactive industries. In that case the door may not hit me on the way out!
