Mystery route

I have worked very hard on this route. I must be honest and state that it was originally a built-in route on 04 but there is no author kuid in the config.
In any case about all that's left of it are the boards to which I have added one and a bridge and a texture or two, all the rest has been changed or deleted - mostly deleted.
I would like to send this up but if anybody has any objections or can recognise it then that may not be a wise thing to do.

A brewery

Along the route - that old road bridge with more scenery and an extra track

Still getting swing bridge problems - flying scotsman!

More to come

Let's have those guesses now please...

So you guessed right which means you won't be able to play with it....

There actually aren't many places anybody could recognise on this new route as it's had a complete makeover.

I'm looking at TRS2006 which I think has the same built-in content and I'll say British Midlands 2 then, cos one of us is right...The only other English route which says Auran in the Author ID column, was Electric Commuter, but that was authored by Rob Shaw.

It looks very good anyway Angela, it doesn't look anything like the original, I see you've given it a good wash and brush up with some new foliage, bridges, etc....

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Yep

British Midlands2

As 2 people guessed it I won't be considering putting it up on the DS - don't want to tread on anybody's toes or get into hot water....

A pity, it is now an interesting and challenging layout.

It's a shame it won't be uploaded Angela, because you have made a much more interesting version than the original. I would have downloaded it for sure.

Good looking layout all the same - Nice work!!

It looks like the KUID for that map is -3:10172; which *I believe* is an Auran KUID. If so, their restriction on uploading modified content is something like 'if it's substantially modified, it's OK'. I don't have the exact link here, though - I'll see if I can find it today.

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission....

You could do worse Angela than ask the Auran team and see if they give permission....

It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.:hehe:

Nice shots. I never even thought of modifying an existing route I always start from scratch.
