My tutorial site - further database issues...

Hi Trainzers,

A quick note that at the moment, another database problem seems to have hit my tutorial site. The last time this happened it was due to a Denial of Service attack against the web hosting company.

I will be submitting a trouble ticket to my web hosting company and seeing if I can sort this one out. In the meantime there's a reasonable chance that you will get the following error on access:

Code:
[B]Database Connection Failed[/B]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Error: Too many connections (1040)[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Function Performed: CONNECT[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Host/DB: pdb1.awardspace.com/shaneturner12_tr[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Database Type: mysqli[/FONT][/COLOR]
[B]Database Connection Failed[/B]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Error: Too many connections (1040)[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Function Performed: CONNECT[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Host/DB: pdb1.awardspace.com/shaneturner12_tr[/FONT][/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]Database Type: mysqli[/FONT][/COLOR]

Please bear with me whilst I sort out this issue, as it's not one I can directly fix.

Shane

EDIT: Looks like my web hosting company's site is down as well...

P.S. If someone needs access to one of the utilities/tutorials held on the site during this downtime, I will see what I can do to provide it.

I have had confirmation from my web hosting company that they are suffering a Denial of Service attack, and as a result their services are offline, which may be the case for an hour or two.

I'm afraid that the issue has happened again - I am working with my web hosting company to resolve this issue and hopefully prevent further database issues.
