My Tutorial Site - connection issues

Some users trying to access my site may get a database error. I am aware of the issue but cannot fix it for an hour as I am currently not at a computer.

An update - things have calmed down (and hopefully, the problem is now fixed) so there should no longer be a database error when loading the site.

If you do encounter one when trying to access the site, let me know.

Still getting the Database error here I'm afraid Shane. Checked IE and FF.

It seems to be a user quantity issue. I have raised it with the support team, and am doing what I can to resolve it.

Hopefully, it will not take too long to sort out.

EDIT: Try a direct link - http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php/en/home/utilities/ and see if the error still appears. If it does, I do have ways of rectifying it.

Direct worked, somewhat slowly though.

It may do, as I've had to clear out the cache files from the site.

Can I check which address you were trying to access, so I can check it at my end?

If anyone else is getting database errors when trying to access my tutorial site, please let me know.

Include:

Address you are trying to acesss
Browser used
Date/Time of access

I can use this info to check my server logs and work out what is going on.

EDIT: I've now found out what caused the database errors from the support team at my webhost. Apparently, they suffered a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack against them.

Had to take the dog out so sorry for late response, link used http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/ same in both Firefox 19.0.2 and IE however working on other PC, going to delete cookies on this one, back in a minute.

That did the trick, still slow loading but working.

That address seems to be working fine at my end - try clearing out your cache.
