maybe using JR's high-detail tracks? they would fit perfectly in this route. nice start btw!

Hmm... I really only like to use built in and DLS scenery to make it easy on downloaders, but I might make an exception if it looks good enough. Also, my laptop is pretty bad, so I have to make do with low quality assets. Thanks anyway, though! It means something to me considering this is only my 3rd attempt at rout building where I have made any progress at all.

I;m using Trainz Mac, equivalent of TS2010. The JR Track is not built in.

Yes, especially on a laptop.

Not sure how MAC works, but JR's TS12 built-in track installed in my TS2010 and TS09 no problem... Not Simulatortrains, the other stuff...

Only thing with JR track (I do like it) is it has this problem which I hate so much:

I think I'll stick with the "Original Dgrey" series, looks good enough to me.

You mean the short ballast? Use the '(terrain)' version...

No, I mean how the track looks different about ⅔ of the way up the picture. Chunky mesh track (the original dgreys, mp/hp track) doesn't do that AFAIK.

You mean the LOD? well, I suppose your view distance can change that, but IDK, I don't have that issue so... Oh well.

I suppose my view distance could, but increasing my view distance beyond 2500m makes Trainz almost unplayable.
