May I mention a few things?

There is already a very well known web site run by Falcon called Ianz Trainz.

I realise your site is Ian'sTrainz but it could lead to some confusion. If you're not set on the name, maybe you could consider an option. It's not the end of the world, but.....

I don't run a blog but I do run one of the largest (if not the largest) Trainz cummunity sites out there. I can't list your site just yet because I couldn't find any content. When you do get some content, just let me know and I'll list it for you.

In the meantime, you can join the Trainz Webring now. All you do is put a banner at the bottom of your home page and the visitors will start rolling in. I'm not joking. Here's the signup page. I expect you to insert the banner within a week or your name will be removed from the register. Look at the help pages for ........help!

I have a couple of blogspot blogs related to other subjects & was thinking of starting a TRS one as a means of showing the ohh so slow progress being made(ATM) on my TGV route so I'll give your site a glance & see what's new.

by the way what did you mean by i have no content on there ive got my screens of my content on my blog showing what my projects are/do you have to upload the content onto the site when its finished???

Hi class1987,

When starting a project like the Trainz Resources Directory, I had to set some ground rules. Screenshots of works in progress aren't really "resources". What I consider a resource is a tutorial or a route or an asset that can be downloaded. I certainly don't expect people to act as their own download station, but to get listed, you must have material (or resources) that can be downloaded from somewhere.

The WebRing is different. As long as you have something interesting on your site, you can be listed. Your site definitely meets that criteria.

Or just let me know it's on the DLS. Putting screenshots of all completed work on your site is a great way to go because the DLS onl;y allows one small picture.

yeah sure il probly have my JHA ELC and HOA wagon completed by end of december when i get the time

got a question to ask you
you know when you texture your content is it easier to just texture it all white and insides grey for repainting because ive seen some images of tom youngs wagons all white when he was testing them out on trainz

When working with that particular blog software I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to C&P images of what I was trying to show so I just stopped trying & focused soley on text.
