What are you looking at?
I have been working lately on layouts of railroad museums! I'm currently working on the Gold Spike site, the Nevada State RR Museum, Greenfield Village, and Stone Mountain! Check them out:

WOW that niceee and I love the DEM 1.5 Map, hehehee but sorry I don't have one but I want take later like 1 year later. Nice the route area and awesome of you, springtransit:wave::cool::)

WOW awesome work! Keep it up I can't wait I always love the small pocket routes so to speak. Would you mind if I made a suggestion for a museum route? Doesn't have to be done at all its just something that I would love to see done.

Sounds good, if you do happen to make it I bet all the Connecticut trainzers here will be very happy. And if you need I can hunt down some pics for you.

I have it, the Essex steam train route. It was sent to me through email by my request. It has several miles of the track north, plus I merged it with a blank route of the Amtrak line to the south and the rest of the Essex line south to Old Saybrook where it meets Amtrak. The 2-8-2 on bdneal's site Subpar Productions closely matches Valley RR's #40. This RR has some similarities to Strasburg in that it runs mostly steam, meets Amtrak (although the regular trains don't go that way, south of Essex few miles to Old Saybrook where it meets Amtrak) The trains usually go 6 miles north to Chester, back up to Deep River, unload for the riverboat, run the locomotive around the train on the passing siding and return to Essex. There has been special runs further to Haddam with steam since more of the line was cleared. They're trying to clear more of the line probably to extend excursions or offer special longer rides. I was never there but I knew about it since 1983 when I saw a brochure for it by Strasburg, PA at the train motel.

How about the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello Illinois? Its a great smaller museum with lots of good equipment. Visit the website. If you do, make a ground cover route, the air photo stands stark against the trainz.
