My Locomotive sound won't work

One of my locomotives don't make any sound when it's in 'idle 2'. And I have the perfect sound for it too. Can someone help me slove this problem?

Hi,

Make sure the sound is in Mono format and is named correctly too.

And I guess you call me a fool and pity me. I hate diesels.

Nuthin' wrong with diesels. I love the sound; clickety click-clickety click of the valve gear and that throaty rumble of the cylinders firing. I turn up the sound; got the household wearing big green plastic eargear when I play with my trains!

I didn't mean to turn this into a diesel discussion! Let's just wait and see if CNSD40MRT found my advice useful, and if anyone else has anything to add.

Well, how do you do that? All of the sounds are in wav. format. This particular idle 2 sound is in wma format. Do I need to convert it or something?

Yes, you do. Trainz only supports wav files. I recommend the free program Audacity.
