Here is my first ever layout. It's a four baseboard layout which could be anywhere, with a portal. here are a few pics and if the feedback is positive maybe I'll upload it to the DLS.

Well done Jazza,

Screenshots never seem too do justice too a layout. But it looks rather nice indeed. I am a Download route-a-holic, so if you do upload it. I shall be downloading it.

Cheers

Wow, To be honest when i first saw " First route " i thought it was gonna be a Bright Green-One Texture, bad track route but that is awsome for a first try !

0099

As with 0099, I thought 'Oh no...' But indeed you seem to have it about right for an Aussie landscape.
And you have also realised that by taking screenies in Driver you get shot of the Tabs right side of the screen.
As a route builder I know it is hard to get it 'right', but you seem to have done that and on a first attampt, something I never did.
Blending textures is important, don't want that all one green grass effect and it is easy to do that, I do it sometime without thinking. So overlaying a similar texture breaks up textural boredom.

Well done.

Ahh, another Queensland route. We can never have too many. I like your sig Jazza1281, one of my favourite locos is the 1720s. :)

Thanks heaps, that really means alot coming from veterans such as yourselves. I will upload it to the Dls.
Cheers Jazza:)

Have redone ground textures and ironed out some details. I uploaded it yesterday and it all looks good....

Everything's on the dls, the only thing you might need are the searchlight signal pack from the freeware section at jointedrail.com
Cheers:)

WOW Jazza,
For a first time effort that looks awesome. You will definately go far if you keep up this standard. Some people seem to have the gift and others (me :'( ) just wish. Keep up the good work. Will have a look at this one myself.

Jazza, If this is your first route. The next ones are going to be extremely good. I was impressed with this one, good texturing and placements of building etc. You took alot of care with everything. Very well done mate :)
