GONE AND FORGOTTEN
I need help PLEEEASE. It appears that all of my AI drivers have either disappeared or have gone on strike. Either way they're missing and i have no idea where to look. Does anyone know where i can find my drivers. Im running trainz 06 on windows vista:(. any info would be very helpfull .
Thanks and run eight

Sam, I had this very problem recently with TRS2004.
I had a large pre-set order of instructions for my drivers which worked fine until it got to a certain point. Then for seemingly no reason whatsoever they just disappeared and I couldn't understand why.
Turns out I had done a bit more track-work and messed up the signalling somewhere not too far down the line, which seemed to "lock out" the track.
When my driver reached this "lock" (I'm not sure of the correct terminology) he just stopped and disappeared.
After some re-jigging of the track and signalling I got things, well, back "on track".
I'm not sure if that will help you, it may not even be the same problem as yours, but it's worth a try, if only to rule that out.

Rikki.

rikki,
thanks but that doesn't help. straight from loading trains my drivers are not to be found. i can find them in CMP but for some reason they will not load on any of the maps. Also CMP says that they are not installed. Again any help with this would be greatly apppreciated.

You've done a faulty install of TRS2006 and/or patch. The only answer is to uninstall and re-install following the steps to the letter.Remember that if you use Internet Explorer 7 it has a builtin Popup Ad Blocker and a Phishing Filter.I don't know whether the Phishing Filter needs to be disabled, but the Ad Blocker certainly does.I had 3 failed attempts at installing before someone told me about IE7, then I finally got it to work.
