Hey all.

I've been working in this in the shadows and I thought "eh, what the hell I'll go public."

Welcome to the Midwest Railroad "Bluebell Branch", located in NE Pennsylvania. This used to belong to NS before it was sold off. The trains based out of Bowden Yard now include:

101
194
376
365
386
B797
B654
B776

The details for these trains are at MWRRs homepage (link soon).

Anyway, PHOTOS!

The fuel pad is busy today...

The power for 386 is parked next to the crew office waiting on the new guys.

Very nice looking! Didn't know the A&SE ran trains out of there (I know they aren't A&SE trains but all of the B### trains are what we'd designate as ballast trains).

Hey guys! Remember this?

No? :(

Well, no need to worry 'cause IT'S BACK!

That's right! The Bluebell Branch is back in action as of tonight 7:00 PM EST. I've been putting in some hard work into redesigning the first parts of the route to make it better and a bit more realistic. Only one photo tonight though...

The newly redesigned service terminal at Bowden Yard (not finished yet):

More tomorrow! Please leave comments on how to better improve the facility. Constructive criticism only. Rude and/or destructive criticism will be promptly ignore (and possibly) reported.

Thanks!

Ok so for the past few hours I've been working heavily on redoing the switches around the facility due to the fact that when tested, they could hold 6 axle locomotives but in a very unrealistic way. These corrections will be shown in tomorrow's photos, with the addition of a turntable and switch locomotive track for the Car Shop! So far, Bowden is looking to be a very exciting place indeed :)

Yeah....so much for tomorrow's photos being literally tomorrow...

Anyway, I've done a few things in the yard, including extending it. I've had a few ideas to make it look even better but alas I can't figure out the tips and tricks of the trade...

As you can see, the turntable is now in place for the car shop. I have also extended the yard and added the track to the left. I need to add the track to the right and determine whether or not I should make that the end of the route or not. I have also added a test signal system in that area. I ask for patience on this project (it isn't dead) because of school getting close to wrapping up, finals, and Loy Norrix's Band is getting back into its "marching Knights" phase :) . This summer I hope to make significant progress on the route, and I may ask for some help in certain areas.

Thank you to all who have watched this project. It means a lot to me :)

This is not a model rr, so following my usual process of building hills one square at a time would put this route being released when we're 80. I'd say just lower the sensitivity to the lowest it'll go, make the circle fairly big, and build it up slowly, then follow my method if anything needs tweeking.

I might just send it over or something once most of the trackwork is laid down or something. There will probably be other stuff too but none I can see in the close future for now!

Thanks man :)

Hello all! Long time no see for this project!

Anyway, some of you may know of my hard drive issues as of late however with the assistance of a tech-savvy uncle and many hours of rambling and raving like a foamer missing his first heritage unit I have gotten it to work as an external drive and Trainz is running as I speak. Now that that issue is resolved, I can welcome back my projects. A few days ago I decided to create logos that were more-or-less official and this is the logo for the Bluebell Branch:

I like it....what do you all think?

Also, a few minor changes to the route plan:

1). It is no longer part of the NS Cahokian District. Not sure what I was on when I came up with that one (sarcasm, I don't use those types of things.)
2.) This is part one of three three routes that are planned for the next several years, hopefully bettering my skills along the way.
3.) I might commission custom content for the routes from Jointed Rail in order to make it complete.

Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season!
