While taking a break from my much larger work in progress, (Kirkby in Ashfield mkii) I happened to do a one basemap scenic test bed called Multon Grange which was used to evaluate ideas, Well, in the middle of the cold snap we had here in the UK over the last week or so, I decided to revisit this little idea and "Winterise" it, as always, any thoughts or comments would be appreciated
Looking through the yard and into the platforms
looking from the up portals into the yard
Some of the railways cottages and the yard entrance
View from the bridge carrying the LNER fast lines toward the station
Shunting the yard.
The project is fully functional and works best as a shunting layout using the portals to generate the stopping and none stopping trains, It can be most infuritating too as the yard is easily capable of snarling up the unwary.
I hope you enjoy, right back to about 30 allotment gardens and populating Sutton in ashfield with houses and street furniture
