Multiply Products with the M.I.N.

Get over it
Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. Here's the scene. I have a industry that I want to ship out General Goods, Pallet of Goods and receive Lumber. I set the maxium amount to 40 items for the General Goods and Pallet of Goods, not wanting to ship 128 items each time. I put 20 items for each product BUT 20 items shows up for one product. I type in 20 for each but the second product always stays at 0. I've been using M.I.N. ever since it came out so I'm not a rookie but this has me stumped. One other oddity, 20 items show up for the lumber which I'm suppose to be receiving even though I didn't put any amount in.

In summary, I should be able to ship 20 items each of General Goods and Pallet of Goods and receive Lumber, no set amount, but I cannot put in any amount for shipping the second product. What am I missing?

Next question. Can I place the second product in queue #2? If so, how? I tried that and when I go into Driver at that industry I get a script error. Seems to me that I should be able to do all the the things in the first paragraph without the second queue. Please don't send me to the M.I.N. tutorial, I've been there. Thanks.

I'd love to know aswell what's up with the old Multiple Industrial Nuttery.

I used to be able to put different products in the first que - not any more.

Sometimes I can't set the amount or assign a certain car - it just refuses.

The only two remedies I have, are either to save and leave Surveyor out to the menu then load the saved session - i.e. no quick-drive, or to delete the session, start fresh and make everthing right in MIN with no alterations.

Hi stouthm --

I suspect that you are not using the correct units. From memory it's set at the final screen on the right. There can be some peculiarities - sometimes what I think should be measured in, for example, tons is actually items.

Tell us if this helps.

Phil, before replying to your suggestion I went back into the game and tried your ideas but no go. I can set the amount for the first product only. I even switched they're positions and it made no difference. Tried all the different units and nothing worked. Funny thing is that on other industries I've used M.I.N. with no problems

I'm in the same position as Ferngren, I used to be able to put different products in the first queue.

Any thoughts on my last question about using the second queue?

"Any thoughts on my last question about using the second queue?"

I always use the second queue for the second product. And the third for the third and the ... .

I previously tried using the second queue but was getting a script error but figured out my mistake so now it's working. Still would like to know why I can't put two products into the first queue. Thanks for your input. Oh yeah, like your routes.
