Multiple industry help

Im trying to set up my oil refinary and for some reason the multiple industries that I set up only fill one car and then the others just sit there empty. When i try to move the train again and then stop it so that it fills again, nothing happens.

How do I make it fill more than one car? thanks

Hi jadebullet,

Have you set up product quantities in surveyor? To do this bring out the industry tab, click on the question mark icon "?" bottom right of tab then click on the industry. A small window should come up allowing you to set quantities to consume and produce.

It's been awhile since I've fooled around with multiple industries, but there's something in the back of my mind that tells me that there's a time delay built into the loading of each car. I also think this time delay is adjustable. Of course, I could be remembering wrong.

There should be no delay in loading any of the wagons.

If you talking about the M.I.N (multiple Industry New), it sounds like it is not setup correctly, go here and have a read through the Tutorials on how to setup the M.I.N.

..and make sure that each car in the train is set up to handle the product you want.

The idea is to do it for one railcar (via the railcar's property panel, not the MIN's panel) and copy those settings to other similar rail cars in the train by clicking on the icon on the top left of the panel (forget what it's called).

This is a step I often forget to do until I see it's only loading my first rail car and neglecting the others.

ok, i found the problem, but that only opened up a new problem. When i set how much the industry can hold before it stops producing, it will only let me use the ammount of 100 and no more. How do I fix this.

Change the 'Size' when you are setting up your Queues in the queues tab.

See Step 3 in my Tutorial, the picture shows the Size set to 255.
