Multiplayer Asset Download Error

When I try to join into a multiplayer session and it asks to download and install assets before starting the session, but when it tries to do this, it fails, and I can't join a session. Is this because I do not have a first class ticket and the dowload station is full? Or is something else wrong? I expected errors, but at least I should have been able to enter a session first.

I'm having the same problem. Game won't let me download the assets necessary to enter the session. Help!

Its trying to download assets that are contained in that particular session you are trying to join.

As all MU players must have all the latest assets, and all the same, I would suggest getting a FCT to fix the problem, or just wait and download all the assets it requires.

They are all shown on he CONTENT UPDATES screen and these should all be downloaded, especially if you have a FCT.

Alternativly try one of the other MU sessions that may not require an update.

You may want to d/l one of the small demo MU sessions to try your hand at this great new feature.

Still Errors

I went to the download station and tried to download some things, everything that is being downloaded turns red and says is a unknown content error. Whats going on here?

I went to the content update screen and none will download because it says could not connect to host.....??? (My internet connection is fine)
and...
I again tried to load the multiplayer session and it still says unable to download assets....???

I think it takes a little while for the FCT to kick in, keep trying

Even with a FCT remember you are downloading across the internet, and if any part is down (lines/servers) (due to the bad storms acoss US/AU) you will have difficulty d/l.

Please be patient ...

It MAY take up to 24 hours to activate the FCT.

Look in your profile, it may be there already.... waiting... for you to activate the FCT.

I bought a FCT about 20 minutes ago.

Had the same problem when I activated it.

I fix it by changing my password in settings to a few random letters. Of course I couldn't log in then. So I changed it back to the right password.

Problem solved.

Wow, 20 minutes to purchase and get an FCT working. No complaints here.:wave:
