OK - Firstly, I'm still on 2009 Beta. There is a chance that this is something already fixed with the Gold Edition . . . and the 2009 SP1 that just got released. Unless its something that I'm doing wrong.
I'm still waiting for my DVD boxed edition :'(
This was working in 2006 with the same rolling stocks.
Symptom :
I come to a stop on the MIN track, the loco control HUD disappears . . . then never comes back! Then I noticed the "little red button" on the bottom right of the screen (shows up when a script error occurs). When I click on it . . . a dialog opens up with this :
MultipleIndustryNew : Thread Exception: ER_NullReference, line 225, file multipleindustrynew.gs (2)
I see a button that says "More". When I click on that . . . this shows up :
Thread Exception: ER_NullReference, line 225, file multipleindustrynew.gs
Stack dump:
function $void@MultipleIndustryNew:
erformStoppedLoad(Vehicle,string), line-1
Function $void@BaseIndustry:
erformStopped(Vehiclestring), line 443
The rolling stocks I'm using are carrying loads/commodities that I made. They work fine and shows no errors in CMP2.
I edited the "config.txt" for each rolling stock and added my product kuid # to the already existing load kuids. Numbered them in order after the existing ones.
I also added the same new kuids to the "kuid table". These are the only changes I made to the rolling stock.
These are the modern "bx" reefers that was designed to be used with my "grocery distribution centers"
I haven't tried other unmodified rolling stocks but since many hours were spent modifying the vhicles . . . I really want to use them.
Can ANYONE make heads or tails about what these somewhat cryptic error messages mean ???
Any suggestions of what I can do to get them to work again ?? . . . other than a new labor contract !
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks
