moving all this stuff......

hello all
I've been collecting trains and Routes for TRS2006 for almost a year now. but then i got TC. I like TC but i would like to move all the stuff from 2006 into TC (including downloads), i tryed using import content from the local TRS2006 in TC CMP but it just froze. Is there a easyer way?

Apparently, from what I can remember, some of the TRS2006 built-in assets are faulty if imported into TC3. They need fixing first. But there are few differences between the storage methods of the two different CMPs, so it might not be a problem.

Another thing to consider is that I read somewhere that you can somehow set up one local folder for both TRS2006 and TC3, as long as you disable the TC3 built-ins in TRS2006.

I dont have TC 1 & 2 but have installed TC3 onto my vista laptop (04 & 06 installed as well) with no hitch. I started to import from 04 but then decided to try a different approach. From another post from Ahsan copied all the 06 .ja files into TC3 except the Yardmaster.ja and the Core.ja ones. He had these renamed to Yardmaster2006.ja and Core2006.ja then copied them into TC3. He also copied the Trainz.ja from 06 renaming it before moving it to Trainz2006.ja. this was placed into the same folder and also the world folder. I copied my 06 Local folder into the TC3 Local folder and apart from some items that dont use the new script routines correctly it all works OK.
