Move Turntable

Is anyone using the Move Turntable Driver Command for 2006 in TRS2009? Will it work with 2009? I dowmloaded it into 09 and everything seemed ok but it doesn't show up anywhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I had hoped I could make the turntables work with AI in 2009.

It works great in 2009. You have to go into the driver commands and check the turntable icon for it to show up as a command. Also make sure you add the input table to your session and fill it in.

I've tried using it and failed but i'm going to try again!

Does it work with any turntables or just Andi's?

It has worked with different ones that I have used. The one important thing you need to do is make sure you make the entry in the input table correctly. It is case sensitive. The entry should look like this:

turntable, Turntable xxxxx,2

Turntable xxxxx is the name of the turntable, the default name or the one you assigned. But make sure it is typed exactly in both layout and the input table.
The 2 is the number of stops in the turntable. This is not important at first. When you use the command for the first time use next and count the number of stops then go back and set the number in the input table.

Hope this helps. Carl

I have used the Move Turntable Rule with the Input Table Rule in 2006 with no problems. However when installed in TRS2009, although the Input Table shows in the Driver Commands additional list, the Move Turntable command does not appear in this list and therefore cannot be included in the Driver Commands list. CMP does not indicate any errors in the kuids, however the icons show the Input Table as a Rule but the Move Turntable as a Script and therefore appears not to recognise this as a Driver Command.

Does anybody know how to rectify this problem since I like to use this Move Turntable Command in my layouts?

Thank You

Many thanks Lewiscc65,

Your answer reminded me that you add a Rule to include the Input Table, then tick the Move Turntable box by editing the Driver Command Rule.

Then edit the Input Table to include the turntable as shown in the posts above.

please note there is a update for trainz 12 but i always get errors it seams it das not all ways work with trainz 12,the hard part is that the i follow how to do it but i keep getting dump stuck and move turntable das not work with the turntable and i do use the input table to put in the command i am trying touse ajs turntabe :'(
