In the Antiquesockets.com forum, we have a "Morning Funnies" section, where funny patents, eBay auctions, etc. can be posted. ;-)

Well, why not introduce something like that in to the Trainz forums in certain cases? :-D

Well, here is a GREAT one, and everyone has it built-in to Trainz! :-D

Two of the "House Thunderbox" assets (translation: "Thunderbox" equals "Outhouse" in American usage) that are built-in to Trainz (in the Australia region) play hilarious sound effects periodically. X-D

In one of them, the guy inside farts periodically, and it is so loud, that it probably scares away all of the nearby birds and rodents. :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

But, now for the really good one. In the other one of them, the guy inside is straining to get a huge dump (poo) out. :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

L.O.L. (And when I say "literally", I mean "Literally"!!!!!) :hehe: :hehe:

The Auran Brew Crew, whom created the built-in thunderboxes, sure are a rambuncious bunch, are they not? :hehe:

Regards.

Where in your post above did you say....... literally?

It is surprising that you get so much humor from normal body functions...oh well.

Will you be creating a route with out-houses every few feet so that everyone can enjoy?

Have fun listening to the sounds of nature.

Sounds hilarious. Not just the outhouses, but the idea of posting weird stuff. There is a lot of room for it in Trainz! ;)

My my, someone got out of bed on the wrong side this morning :p. Or perhaps did the one that has to be obeyed possibly give you a hard time by saying no to a request of yours :hehe:.

Lighten up, it IS funny, although you obviously can not see this (hear in this case). It still surprises me why some people periodically ONLY see the dark side of a brightly lit up post in this forum.

Jeeez....the world is sad and depressing enough, a little ray of sunshine every now and then is all that is needed to brighten it up a bit.

I bet, in your younger years you were a school teacher or similar :'(.

I had a good chuckle.....

My vision and hearing are good, thanks.

When did bathroom humor become a "little ray of sunshine"?

I bet, in your younger years you were a school teacher or similar.

Actually, I have an MBA in Accounting and Finance.... did the "bean counter thing"

I had a good chuckle.....

I also find humor in many things.... to each his own.

Hi Vinny....

No negativity taken to your post, or given back in my reply. I hope you feel the same toward my reply.

Hope you have a really great day and find humor and joy in all things.

Have fun:)

I meant, that I really did laugh at it for real, instead of just putting an average "L.O.L." in the post. ;)

It is not always funny, as both stink, ;) :hehe: but the idea is that such sound effects are actually included as part of a couple of the built-in items in Trainz, becuase the developers (the Brew Crew) put them in there. It is a little "Easter Egg" that the Brew Crew put in there. And how often do you find such hilarious easter-eggs in such software? ;) :p :hehe:

And, no, I won't be putting farting outhouses every few feet just becuase of the sounds. :p

Just as a side funny: I wonder why such out-houses are called "thunder"-boxes?? :hehe: :hehe:

Regards.

Just a guess, look at the sentence right above your question. :p

I have already figured for a while now that that is a possibility, but I just wanted to see what others thought, especially about the real reason they are called "thunder"-boxes. ;) :hehe:

I would think that it (and you know what "it" means ;) :hehe:) would have to be pretty loud to be similar to thunder, though. ;) :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

If I served you my chili...as I like to make it...oh, trust me, you'd know. You'd know. :hehe:

L.O.L. :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: And I mean literally, too! :hehe: I could hardly even drink a sip of my glass of milk next to me, because that is so funny! ;) :hehe: :hehe:

The one with the swingin' door is a gas

Place a bunch of them together, and all the doors swing open and closed, in unison.

The old Horseshoe Curve once had one co-ed single seat, complete with internal yeller' jackets, buzzin' wasps, and hornet nests hanging up in the rafters, with timber rattlers and copperheads on the hillside outside (not a good place to linger reading the newspaper). I once said: Eww...look what someone done did over there in the corner ! Suddenly the barney blinked at me, and hopped away, (as it was in reality just an ugly ol' hop toad).

I have that one. ;) It is from TheCowboy, from what I remember.

For the real gas, and for a good joke on your layouts near the tracks, I just came up with a great idea (have not tried it out yet, however. ;)). Place TheCowboy's swinging-door outhouse, then position a sitting person model in there over the hole, :p then place one of the Auran thunderboxes (farting or straining-to-get-the-dump-out, your choise. ;) :hehe:), and bury it under the ground below the outhouse using the Adjust Height tool. There you go. :hehe::hehe:

I am afraid of wasps (and bees, most of the time), so I wouldn't want to have to go dump in THAT outhouse!

Whoops, looks like you editing your post at the same time as when I saved mine. ;) :p :hehe:

As for that...L.O.L. :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

I couldn`t stop myself, I had to write this message, after I stopped laughing long enough to do it. So, an outhouse in Australia is called a thunderbox and there`s a group of male strippers from Australia called The Thunder From Down Under. Doesn`t that bring a whole new meaning to the name of the group? Maybe they`re just a group of guys that had beans for breakfast. LOL
