I currently have registered a Trainz 2006 and have just downloaded Trainz for Mac. Do I have to register the 2 separately or can i register the Mac version with the 2006? Also I have 3 months of downloads with a first class ticket. Do I need a separate one for the mac downloads? Are there ant Mac downloads?

OK, let's clear things up.

You can register as many versions of Trainz as you want on one account. You will just need to fill in the serial number registration form for each version you have a serial number for and wish to register.

The First Class Ticket will work with any Trainz version.

As for Trainz Mac downloads, your best bet is to have a look in the Trainz Mac forum on that one.

Thanks Shane. I've been to the registration page and entered the register number but it keeps telling me "serial number not found"

Make sure you select the correct version of Trainz. By default it is set to Trainz Simulator 12.

yup done that and set it to trainz for mac but it still says its invalid. Could there be a lag between downloading and it registering that it has been downloaded at Auren?

There shouldn't be, but do check if it registered itself.

If it is still not working, Helpdesk is your best option.

Ok Shane thank you for your help. And now its my turn to blush. I copied the serial number wrongly and somehow got a B instead of an 8. (I'm getting old you know, its my only excuse)

These things do happen - even I've been known to enter serial numbers incorrectly at least once.
