Running Trainz 09 in windowed mode. There is a glitch that for what ever reason moves the info window when I click out and back into trainz surveyor.
After clicking on a consist to bring up its properties and click off screen sometimes (not all) when I click back that properties window will jump ahead of my cursor. Sometimes it jumps off screen.
Trainz main window does not lock those windows inside of your main so the glitch causes the properties / info window to go of screen.
How do I get it back? Tried changing to fullscreen, loading into driver where the glitch is not present.
Loaded back into surveyor and when clicked on info that window does not appear yet I'm stuck as if it is infront IE can't click menu bar at top to save or even cntrl+sec:mouse button to move.
Is there a way to reset surveyor settings to bring that back to default location?
UPDATE: Put a support ticket in and Zec suggested extended database repair. Meanwhile I've been looking up window placement in surveyor and found some information calling functions through the api etc... Since I was convinced it was settings saved I tried to see if surveyor would save my map settings. Loaded route, opened map and minimized to menu bar, tried the info button and there it was, center screen.
I'm afraid that this will happen again and will check to see if restarting trainz, minimizing the map window fixes it.
So my question is how do you enter commands into surveyor or can you? Is there even a console for such?
UPDATE2: Restarting Trainz and first thing I did was open mini map and minimize it and it fixes the placement of the object window. That is the fix.
