I've wanted to add a railroad drawbridge to my layout, but most of the drawbridges I've found are normally open and close when a train comes. I want to place my bridge near a busy rail terminal, where the train traffic would be greater than the water traffic, so that doesn't work.
I tried Chicago Canal Bridge 4 <kuid2:210518:7634:4> which includes a stacked rail and auto deck. It's set to only raise when water traffic comes and has the invisible track for drivable ships. In the thumbnails, there are connecting points for both the two tracks and auto splines (in addition to the invisible for boats). Yet when I downloaded it, there is only one connecting point for the road and none for the tracks (which are visible on the bridge, so they're not missing).
I don't see anything wrong with asset - no missing dependencies or errors or anything else that often plagues downloads. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Perhaps someone could download it and see if they have the same issue? There's no author listed to ask. This really stinks because is looks like an otherwise nice piece of work and something that would work very well for what I have in mind - maybe the only draw bridge that would!
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
