Missing Textures

Help...I've tried both Trainz 2009 and 2010. When I download things from the DLS, they don't have skins or maybe the textures. Everything is all black!

Any ideas?

Have you checked them with CM for errors or faulty dependencies?

Some have missing dependencies but many do not.

Nvidia 4xx series graphics card?
If so they have a problem with hardware compression appears to affect some ATI cards as well.
Disable it in the Launcher options start content manager, right click each asset you have downloaded, select open for edit, then right click again and select commit. that should fix it. Leave hardware compression off until such time as Nvidia / ATI sort out their drivers so they are backwards compatible with functions that worked on previous hardware. 2xx series cards worked perfectly.
