Hello,

I have to report that my previos request for help regarding downloading and installing has been rectified completly to my satisfacton by bying a First Class Ticket.

I now have a new problem that I hope someone can help me with.

After my download using the download helper which reports all assets downloaded and installed correctly I start the senario or drivers session and get the message to connect to the DLS to DL the rolling stock.

after logging on to the DLS I then get the message "Cannot find assets"

I have tried to DL manually but get the message saying "Nothing to download" which implies that I have already downloaded them.

Could someone please help.

Thanks

Bill

Hi Bill
have you commited the rolling stock in CMP? Go to the open for edit tab, Right click on anything that may be in there, drop down to edit, click, and on the next drop down file you will see commit at the bottom, click commit and you should see your rolling stock when you go back into trainz.
Hope this solves your problem.

I assume that when you tried to start the scenario or session you got the black screen saying you are missing something and you chose the option to try to download it from the DLS. Also, a manual download says nothing to download. All this tells me you have the content but that it is faulty.

You have 2 options to remedy this.
1. If you're using TRS2004 use Trainz Objectz to check it. If TRS2006 use CMP to check it.
2. Open it in Surveyor and ignore the black screen and choose to load it anyway. Once loaded open the Surveyor Menu at the top of the screen and chose Delete Missing Assets. If the missing item(s) aren't too important you should be able to use it.

guys I dont have to commit anything unless it wasent from the DLS, if u get the screen (in TRS06) that says some content dosent work right, ignore it, all but a few of the cars i have work fine, and SAY they dont work, if the layout wont load AT ALL u have a bigger prob
