Missing Dependencies for ECML South

Hi.
I have downloaded Puffernutter's ECML South route, but I have a lot of missing dependencies. They have kuid's like "-1:00003". I presume these are built-ins, maybe from TRS2004? So I can't get them from the download station. Can anyone confirm what they are, and would someone be willing to send them to me as a cdpa or something? There are about thirty items, I think. If I get a "yes" reply I will post the actual list of kuid's.
Also, does anyone know of a route with a big terminus, in steam days, with a session that demonstrates how to deal with shunting the stock and locos in and out of the platforms in AI mode?
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Hi Mick,

I am not aware of such a route/session , but would love to find one! I have been working on AI operation for a big terminus (not as big as KX though) for 3 or 4 months now and as one problem is solved another crops up. It would seem that there is no simple way to do this as the AI get confused with complex shunt type operations, especially where full signalling is involved. So far it seems to be lots of track marks and Drive To/Via/Couple At Trackmark commands and even that gives problems on occasion. I would be happy to share what little knowledge I have gained on the subject by responding to specific questions if it helps.

Chris

Hi Mick,

It was an email, will send same by PM.

Regards Bruce

PM sent.

Hi Bruce.
You have email and PM. But before you do anything, let me see if I can get any of them from TRS2006, which I have.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

TC3 doesn't come with all the original content that the older versions came with. you'll need to either get 09 and merge TC3 with that. or get 04/6 and merge that with TC3.

I do have TRS2006. Are they likely to be in there? But I really don't want to re-install 2006, and I don't suppose Bruce does either. It would take longer to install 2006 than it would to get the assets from it. The best solution is to find someone who already has 2004/2006 installed, and is willing to send the stuff to me.Thanks,
Mick.
PS Wouldn't it be nice if CMP, instead of saying "unknown location", could say "2006-built-in", or whatever.

A route that may come close to what you are looking for is the "Toronto Rail Lands 1954" built into 2006. It includes the complex passenger terminal plus separate CP and CNR freight yards and seven (7) sessions. It is a dispatchers nightmare. It will also give your computer a good workout. Nothing else that I know of comes close.

I too have both 2004 & 06 but use TC3 (:udrool: ) and have 09 installed.
Are these items in 04, 06 or some in each? You can read from my query that I do not really wish to go through the install of 04 & 06 with their SPs.

thanks.

For those who are interested, all the missing kuids for ECML south are built into TRS2006,with the exception of 1942:32005(brick road bridge) which is available from 'tafwebs' trainzobjectz site, and 52519:50024(various roads) by mgreen48 which can be found on the DLS, providing you tick all the boxes.

Are any of the 7 sessions for the passenger station?

Well, considering the above (and I agree with ess1 100 per cent) it's probably worth it for me to install my TRS2006. But the thought of it fills me with dread and therefore I'm asking a favour of anyone who has TRS2006 installed.
I need the following assets,

Kuids are on the way via email, let me know how you get on with them.

Hi Bruce.
Many thanks, no problems installing items. However on seeing the complete ECML South rendition of Kings Cross Station, I was rather disappointed. In all honesty I prefer my own!:o ECML South does not include the Suburban station, the Hotel Tunnels , the dreaded Platform 14, York Way platform and other good stuff. But it is useful to have the complete ECML South route for reference, so your efforts are not wasted.
ESS1 has expressed interest in having the missing kuid's, so with your permission I will forward them to him. (ESS1, I will need an email address, the folder is too big for a PM to handle.)
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Hi Mick,

Glad they worked OK, but sorry the end result was a bit of a disappointment. I think, given the route was built in 2003 when 'content' was limited, it was a pretty fair effort.

As ESS1, like you, has TRS2006 and technically owns a copy of these kuids, I don't think anybody can have any objection to you forwarding them onto him.

Regards Bruce

Thank you both very much. I had merged ECML routes in 2004 a few years ago.

Have PM'd my email.
