MISSING AND/OR FAULTY DEPENDENCIES FOR 0-6-0

Greetings Bob: I am using 2006. The manual states that you can open an existing skin as described above. What the manual does not state is that the existing skin needs to be based on a built in template to begin with. (I'm guessing this is the case). The tutorial link hat you provided explains in detail how to paint a reskin using Photoshop which I have and use for retouching photos. I might give that a try. All I have to do is find the correct files to work with. If that approach does not work, then I might start a new thread on the subject. I'm sure I'm not the only member trying to do a simple re-lettering.

Thanks again for your assistance, Tom

Finding the texture file to reskin:
Right click the loco in CMP and select Edit - Edit in Explorer.
If the texture files are in the form xxxxxx.texture, instead of xxxxxx.bmp or xxxxxx.tga, then you'll need to convert them. You can use the free TgaTool2 program or PEV's Texture2TGA program.
The main texture file will usually be the largest graphic file in the body folder.

Bob
