Missing AI

Only one Route is affected so I must have pressed a wrong button.

Run a save Session and all is okay.
Need to change something, so return to Sessions and suddenly all AI instructions have disappeared for that Session.
Return to the Saved Session and there all AI instructions are present.

What have I done to this Route/Session to cause this problem?
Can it be fixed?
Is there a method whereby AI instructions can be copied to a new version of the Route?
Thanks
Stuart.

Firstly which saved session are we talking about, the one on the opening screen or the one in routes/sessions for surveyor? The opening screen session is the one saved while you are in the driver mode and is completely separate from the session one in routes. You can not edit this session or get access to it. Check in CMP to see if you have a session for the route as it may have become detached from the route.

Where to start.
CMP lists both the Route and the Session.
When I open the Sessions -from CMP - File - Launch Trainz - Routes - Session - there are Sessions (yellow star) and the saved Drive Sessions.
Opening the Session for edit, the AI instructions have gone.
Opening a saved Drive Session and it works fine - all AI instructions are there.
As you say, it is not possible to edit from there.

I have never heard of the schedule library so I haven't used it.
There is a command - append instructions from - which I did use on another route.

As I said, I don't have this problem with any other route/session.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Where can I go from here?
Stuart.

From CMP open content and select my content tab. This lists all content changed or made by you. Look for the sessions related to the route in question, you may have more than one. If so right click on each one and select view config. Look for map kuid and check the kuid number against the routes kuid and if different it has been detached from the route. You will need to then open for edit and change the kuid to match the route kuid and save.

It's a puzzlement.
I have been doing that and I think that I must have messed it up somewhere.
This is an ongoing route of many years standing.
In all previous versions all is okay but then it loses all AI.
I don't know why.
I think I will have to delete routes back to where it was working and move on.
I can only hope I don't repeat whatever it was I did.
Thanks for your help.
Stuart.

If you have a previous session open it for edit and copy the profile.dat file. Now open for edit your newest session and replace the profile.dat with it. This file contains all the driver commands and should still function even if the route has altered.
