MIN has memory?

I've been dickin' around with Multi Industry New objects a fair bit lately.

I sometimes change my mind about a product to use, so I delete it from the Queue and any other places I can see it. However I can never delete it from the "Products" tab. Even if I close and re-open the control panel, it's still there.

Thing is, even though the unwanted product has no associated Queues, Processes, Tracks, Amounts or Vehicles, it stops the MIN loading and unloading trains with other, properly set-up products.

I have taken to deleting the MIN itself and starting over with a new one, but I suspect that's not how it was meant to be.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a right way of erasing the product memory of a MIN, or is it a design fault?

Hello Dean!

There is one thing you can do, is to delete the session of your layout. BUT! If you delete the session, all configuration of scripted objects (signals, industries, animated turnouts, etc.) will be lost, and you will have to reconfigure them.

Krisz ;)

Dig you get my e-mail? :)

Hi Krisz

I really don't want to delete my whole Session just to fix one MIN, so for now, I will simply replace the MIN's with fresh copies.

Last e-mail I got was 24 March, it was about the spelling mistakes right?

Hi Dean,

As you have found yes, the M.I.N will 'remember' all the products that you configure it to use, there is no way to delete them that I know of, except the way you are doing it, delete the M.I.N and replace it for a new one.

Bit of messing around I know... :)
