Mexican Railroads are Dangerous!

I have been observing Mexico's railroad operations and such. I notice how their locomotives and rollingstock are the same as it is here in the United States, but they run their trains thru old over-grown track, crossings are hidden and have no warnings or signals, traffic doesn't bother to stop so the trains usually fight for their right of way thru traffic. Also, there is not really any signals. Take a look at this video:

I'm not saying they are bad. It's interesting, but they must be one of the most dangerous countrys for railroads. -Chris
 
Aye, not even Poland and Czech have such bad road-rail safety standards, which is really saying something for their rail systems.

That Is! the most dangerous I've seen no railroad crossing? what if their horn don't work (maybe but doubt it) and the train comes OH GOSH I CAN'T THINK NOW!
 
The safety is poor but if the trains horn doesn't work but they go slow so that the cars can see that ones coming so they know that they have to stop.
 
Mexico has a much different legal system than the US. In Mexico, there is no "liability", and the individual cannot bring suit for personal injury. There are no warning signs in any situations that we are accustomed to seeing here.

I thought that Indian railroads are dangerous because of people hanging on sides of cars and riding on top of cars on some days.

Hmm...

Volary station, just across the German/Czech border, on passenger train pulled by a 751 with my head out the window, CD 810 on next siding going in same direction as well. Switch ahead. Neither train stops, both signals are set to "switching allowed", both stop just before the weichengrenze or the minimal distance possible with two trains. I saw this with my own eyes and if that is a good safety standard than my name is Daffy Duck.
