Hi all,

I've just downloaded the Class 37's by tmz06003 and have then also downloaded the two reskin templates required but what exactly do i do with the folders/files once i've extracted them from the archives i downloaded???

I've searched on here and found out i needed these extra two sets of files but nobody has ever seemingly said what exactly you do with them once you have downloaded them.

I downloaded the smoothnose archive also just in case and i imported this ok as it was a .cdp file but it's these other archives where i don't know what to do once i've extracted them.

Cheers

Dave.

I've already done that and still need to know what to do with the downloaded files in the archives once i've extracted them. All that post says is to "install" them.... All you get in the archive are folders and .tga and .txt files and nothing like a .exe file so my question is still.... How do you install them as per the instructions given on here. I also tried the other suggestion on that same thread about importing them but it just throws up error messages no matter which of the folder or files i select to import.

I've found numerous posts about these extra files and a few where people have asked what exactly you need to do with the files that you extract from the downloaded archives but no-one ever answers the question.

Open up CMP, and drag the loco folders into CMP and it will install them into the game, you may need to commit them as well.

Ok i'm still having issues here....

I've unzipped the two template zip files from that website along with the smoothnose zip file. The smoothnose zip was easy as that was a .cdp file which installed ok.

Once i unzip the a template zip i get a folder called "37_reskin_template2".... Within this i get two more folders called "psp files" & "Class37_Reskin_Template_2" (Which also contains another two folders called "Class37_Reskin_Template_2_alpha_numbers" & "Class37_Reskin_Template_2_art")

Now however i do it when i drag any combination of folders etc... over the CMP window it gives me error messages back.

When i now look at the Class 37's in the main view instead of a yellow jigsaw piece that i had before i have a red jigsaw piece and the following warnings listed....

Warning: Aliased meshes cannot currently be verified by Trainz.
Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'.

It also advises that dependency "BR Class 37 Reskin Base 2" is faulty???

So by installing these extra zip files it seems to have worsened the situation...

Any ideas as i'm totally new to Trainz (These were my first attempt at installing extra stock) and it's not going anything like to plan. :(

It's not like this everytime you install something new is it???

Another update..... Thought i'd delete the problematic "BR Class 37 Reskin Base 2" and re-download it and re-install it so right clicked on it and selected delete then unzipped the new fresh download and dragged the files back over the CMP window only for it now to give the following message "Warning: Skipped previously installed an open for edit asset 'BR Class 37 Reskin'" If i then commit that asset and try and install the reskin base 2 files again it asks if i want to overwrite but then still doesn't show a "BR Class 37 Reskin Base 2" asset.

And it now doesn't show up in the list at all!!!! I'm getting very very confused and think i'm loosing the will to live when it comes to installing new stock into Trainz!!!

Cheers
