Hi nexusdj is it possible for you (or me) to reskin the class 323 into the Merseyrail 502/503 emu's. I know i posted a screenshot of one without asking, & am VERY sorry for that, but i would love to have these units on trainz. I did try to email you about this but your email has been disabled.

Yes i have the 508 class, & very good they are too. But i am planning to do a merseyrail layout set in late 60', early 70's (before the loop & link) no 507's till 1978. (1983 for 508's on merseyrail). These will only be a stopgap till a 502/3 trainz model is made. http://davegraham.fotopic.net/p38805311.html

I've spoke to IC125 and we both give you permission to reskin the 323 into a class 502 . If I get chance I'll have a look at changing the front to remove the coupler and add buffers but I can't promise anything as I'm tackling a major project that has a deadline to finish it !!

Can you email me (you'll find my skodatrainz email address in the config file of the 323) thanks .

:)

ahhhhh, the good ol' days on merseyrail :p

I think if you search merseyrail on the DLS there is one that looks quite a bit like it. Have a look, it might work as a temporary placement.

Im only 14 so have never been on one but the new ones are waaaay better. I too have a small project to re-create the merseyrail system (but mines in the present)

Does anyone have a map that is geologically correct for ALL rails, passenger and access?

I ask because it is especiallly hard to do underground when all you can see is the stations in real life (unless your a driver, in that case, do you have one?:D ) Just thought i would pop the question)

Many thanks, nexusdj & IC125. Is it ok to post a screenshot when its done, (in blue & blue grey livery) ?
May i, with your permission, also try the wirral line class 503's ?

If you mean for merseyrail, i remember seeing a 3d model of moorfields station at the large object museum. Showing all the lines & passage ways, (& the road tunnel right through the middle) don't know what happened to it..

Sorry should have read the first post properly,

these are well interesting units (probobly a little before my time) I too would be very interested in these just one question were these units only found around the mersyrail network or were they found anywhere else as well.

Cheers

:D

Andy

These unit's only worked on Merseyside, but could be seen en route to Horwich works & sometimes at Allerton, or Reditch .
The 502's built by the LMS (1939) only worked the Southport, Ormskirk, & Crossens lines, (& a few on the north mersey branch), & later Kirkby & Garston.
The 503's built by both the LMS (1938) & BR (1956) only worked the West Kirby, Rock Ferry, & New Brighton lines, with some working the northern lines in the early 80's...

A few screenshots of the work i have done so far. The first two are class 502 motor & trailer cars, the last is my first attempt at a 503 motor car. Thanks again to nexusdj & IC125 for allowing this, (& to imageshack for photo hosting).
I will post some on the uk screenshot's thread later.

Considering as this was back in 2009 i assume you finished this? I have tried every combination on the DLS and i still cant seem to find it. Did you upload it elsewhere?
